Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and a brief description of the opportunity or inquiry you’re writing about.
Technical information processed automatically. Like most websites, this site’s hosting and security providers automatically process certain technical information as part of delivering and protecting the site — for example, IP address, request information, browser and device information, and security or diagnostic logs. This happens as a standard function of the underlying infrastructure (see Cloudflare, below), not because Mediacloth is intentionally building a profile of visitors or tracking behavior on the site.
We do not have user accounts, a newsletter, e-commerce, or payment processing on this site.
How We Use This Information
Information submitted through the contact form is used to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Follow up with you about the opportunity or project you described
We do not use contact-form information for marketing emails, and we do not sell it.
Formspree (Form Processing)
Contact form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service. Formspree processes and may store form submissions as necessary to transmit them to us, provide spam protection, and otherwise operate its service, subject to Formspree’s own privacy policy and account settings. Cloudflare (Hosting)
This website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical information — such as the kind described above — to deliver, secure, and operate the website, and limited logs or diagnostic information may be available to Mediacloth through its Cloudflare account. We do not use this information for advertising or behavioral profiling. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details on their practices.
Cookies and Analytics
Mediacloth does not currently use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. Cloudflare or other service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver, secure, or operate their services.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your information. We may share contact-form information with service providers, contractors, or professional advisers only where reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to your inquiry, provide requested services, obtain professional advice, comply with the law, or protect our legal rights. Otherwise, information is not shared with third parties beyond Formspree and Cloudflare as described above.
Retention
We retain contact-form information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and follow up on the inquiry, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights. When the information is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes, we may delete or anonymize it.
Security
Mediacloth uses established service providers and reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to this website. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
